Cynthia Wheeler-Linden has been active in the hospitality and entertainment industry since 1990; she specializes in group diversification dynamics and is widely respected for her ability to understand the inner workings of economic development projects, contract law and her unique ability to generate consensus among differing members of the community. Cynthia served as director of marketing for The Museums at 18th & Vine, managing all aspects of the 1997 Grand Opening gala and generating international news coverage for Kansas City and its jazz heritage. She served on the board of directors for the Minority Business Opportunity Committee (MBOC) of Greater Kansas City, The Children’s Science Foundation and is currently a member of the MORARE, the National Contract Management Association and NAWBO. She currently works with numerous marketing partners developing strategic segmented marketing strategies, community outreach programs along with overseeing new business development and contracting.
